Deep Sea Fishing

The Caribbean has some of the best fishing grounds in the world and is known for the abundance of many species of fish. St.Lucia has some of the deepest waters in the Caribbean making fishing very accessible year-round. We normally start fishing about a mile offshore and go up to 5 - 6 miles offshore depending on fishing and water conditions. In the waters off Soufriere, where we are located, some of the species include:

• Blue Marlin
• White Marlin and Sailfish
• Yellow Fin / Black Fin Tuna
• Dorado
• Barracuda
• King Mackerel / Spanish Mackerel
• Wahoo
• Rainbow runners
• Horse Eye Jacks
• Yellow Tail Snapper

Normally we troll 5 lines, with both artificial lures and skirted ballyhoo rigs.

Our flagship fishing boat “Reel Affair 2” is a Bertram 38 Sport Fish Fly Bridge Cruiser, professional rigged with Lee Outriggers, Penn downriggers and all the professional gear needed for serious fishing.

Our two other fishing vessels include our very spacious “Natural Mystic” a 42ft Samson and the “Mystic Man 1” our Bertram 26 which can cruise at over 40 knots to get to the fishing action.
